Can pictures really communicate?

Speaking on communication, I would like to bring up the topic of pictures. The old saying is that, a picture describes a thousand words. Is this really true?

People send pictures to each other because they value friendship, family send each other pictures because they care.

How do people whom want to date exhange pictures?

What if the possibility of dating was next to nothing and the only medium of communication would be technology and the media?

I guess the simple answer would be to use common sense, which is apparently these days not so common. Translate picture by picture and understanding each other.

I don't have a girlfriend right now and would sure love to date.

It doesn't get any clearer than this, does it?

This sounds suspciously like an invitation for every aspiring debutante and desperate female to bombard you with photographs with the hopes of being presented with the title of DZ's gf. Would be interesting to see what pops through the mailbox.
