I decided to join a local speaking club today. It was much fun.
Public speaking gives you the freedom to speak your mind when necessary.
There are skills involved but nevertheless it is easy to pick up.
I did not expect a RM 150 membership charge. Why pay to talk?
Anyways my counterparts cannot work for free, therefore it is legitimised.
Over the past week, I have been getting responses that my blog as such is getting old and dainted.
Perhaps a makover will help?
As ordinary human beings alike, we love to read what is intriguing and what is unusual. I have minimised my self-reporting efforts towards the publication of my daily dosages of life.
They are done for reasons that are practical.
I continue to blog for fun and the benefit of my readers.
My table topic today was rather unusual. It was suggested by a friend, Zarina.
Confidently I pulled through rather well with the exception of not being able to look at the audience.
I quote Zarina, 'writing is an integration of mind, body and spirit'
Writing enables me to feel complete. Incidences, experiences and unforgettable moments are kept in the mind. When translated into words, they make better sense.
The mind is important. It keeps the body and spirit together.
Before I continue 'blowing my own horn' about this blog and writing, I shall stop here with the following;
'It is better to be quiet and remain a fool then to speak unwantingly thus being one' - Zarique.
Thanx PickYin.
